
Alex Willert is an accomplished music educator, performer, and leader. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and a Master’s degree in Teaching, and brings more than a decade of professional performance experience with the Walt Disney Company at both the Disneyland Resort and Tokyo Disney Resort. As the previous director of the award-winning choir program at Brea Olinda High School, Alex led ensembles to national recognition for exceptional musicianship, artistry, and showmanship. He has also served as an adjudicator for Southern California show choir competitions and maintains a private voice studio, working with singers ranging from beginning vocalists to performers preparing for national tours. His broader artistic work includes curating and producing performances for major events in Los Angeles and at Chapman University, where he also led the Chapman Ambassador Program, a distinguished leadership organization for the university’s highest-achieving students. Alex is honored to join the Esperanza High School community and looks forward to building upon the program’s tradition of excellence while inspiring students to grow as musicians, develop transferable lifelong skills, and become part of a welcoming and supportive community.
